The coach previews the game against Real Betis
In their first match at Mestalla in 2023/24, Valencia CF highlighted the different social actions carried out by the VCF Foundation.
The first recognition on the field of play was for the players from VCF Inclusivo, a project that has 65 players with intellectual disabilities and that serves as a powerful motivation and development tool.
The young players from the Escoles Cor Blanquinegres project were also protagonists in the moments prior to the start of the game. Some 22 boys and girls from the project, which helps those at risk of social exclusion through footbal, took to the pitch along with the Valencia CF and Aston Villa starters.
A video summary of the different actions undertaken by the VCF Foundation and the 18 collaborating entities in the ADN Mestalla Solidari initiative was shown. The project is now in its third season building relationships between the VCF Foundation and different NGOs to which Valencia CF gives visibility.
Representatives were present from: Cruz Roja, Centro de Transfusión de Sangre de la Comunitat Valenciana, Casa de Acogida Dorothy Day, Asociación de Enfermos de Alzheimer de Valencia, Dragon Boat Remeras, Fundación Oceanográfic, Fundación Anar, Asleuval, Colegio Niños Huérfanos San Vicente, Fundación Bioparc, Payasospital, Mamás en Acción, Bombers pel Món, Dogpoint, Fundación Pequeño Deseo, Casa Caridad, Fundación Aladina and La Casa Grande
